Gracie

Grace Donnelly (Gracie) is a final year student in the National College of Art and Design studying a BA in Fine Art Sculpture & Expanded practice and Education.

Gracie’s work is very vibrant as she believes that colour can dramatically affect moods, feelings, and emotions..Each Piece of work aims to be different to each viewer. Her current works depicts how our auras can radiate and merge together, the Law of attraction playing a very big roll in this- “What we give to the world,we receive” 

An aura is a characteristic that embodies a person's quality which appears to radiate from someone or something.As human beings, we radiate a very low level of electricity that’s otherwise known as an electromagnetic field.Our aura is “seen” as a luminous body that surrounds our physical one, each layer and colour depicting different emotions.We’re all broadcasting like radio stations without even knowing it. As we interact with different people our auras merge and affect one another, this is why we must surround ourselves with people who bring positive energy into our lives, charging up our internal battery rather than draining it.

The Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is believed that regardless of age, nationality or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. While radiating a positive energy we can attract positivity into our lives and those we surround ourselves with.
