ABOUT BABS

Barbara Bennett is an Artist & Graphic Designer from Galway City. She studied Visual Communications in The National College of Art & Design and graduated in 2017. She has since worked as a designer for a few different retail stores in Ireland and abroad. In 2019 she moved to Vancouver, Canada with plans on staying out her Visa for the 2 years, but unfortunately due to the COVID Pandemic, she had to return home to Ireland. Since returning Barbara has set up a shoe customisation business where she hand-paints her own designs on to shoes. Her original shoe designs are all inspired by her Grandmother's Garden in Galway - but of course her designs are not limited to that, she paints all sorts of colourful designs and patterns which are made to order.
